New features 💎
-
Workflows now support a Branching node, giving you the ability to split a workflow into multiple paths from a single status. When a page reaches a Branching node, the workflow can follow one of several branches depending on the path the transitioner wishes to take - each branch has its own label and transition permissions. One branch can be designated as the default, which is taken automatically if the node is configured to expire. The Branching node is available in the workflow editor alongside existing logic nodes. Please see our documentation for more details on admin and user use of this feature.
-
Users can view a workflow’s completed actions for a specific Confluence page by selecting ‘View actions’ from the page’s byline pop-up menu.
-
Guest users can now create and utilise 2FA tokens, such that they can approve and reject Approval steps which have enabled the ‘Require two factor authentication’ setting.
Improvements 🛠️
-
Guest users will now be able to see their own user avatar in the byline, macros, and the page history when the Anonymous access setting for ‘View User Profile’ is disabled.
-
‘Undo last deletion’ in the Workflow Editor now supports restoring edges. Deleting a Workflow step causes all its connecting edges to be deleted as well. Now, these edges will be restored with the step when ‘Undo last deletion’ is clicked.
Bug fixes 🐛
-
Fixed a bug where the workflow status (via the Metadata Macro) would display an error banner when the current status of the page is one which has been deleted from the applied workflow. Instead, this now shows on the page as ‘Unknown workflow step’ - the same as the byline text and page export.
Updating to the latest version: this update has been automatically applied to Workflows for Confluence, so no action is required from you.
