Type of Update | BUG FIXES IMPROVEMENTS |
We’re delighted to announce the December 2023 update to Workflows for Confluence has just been released.
Improvements 🛠️
Cosmetic improvements to the Workflow Builder - we renamed the following statuses to better reflect their purpose:
“Create” has been changed to Start
“Status” has been changed to Page Status
“Set Permissions” has been changed to Set Page Restrictions
“Comment” has been changed to Add Comment
“Approval” has been changed to Approval Stage
References to Approvers List macro have been removed - this macro is now called Current Approvers, which is more descriptive of the data it displays
Bug fixes 🐛
Publishing now works as expected when the ‘clone page ancestry’ option is switched on and a parent of the page to be published doesn’t have a workflow
The Official Version Description macro now displays as expected on published pages. Please note, if you are experiencing any issues with this macro, please republish your page and it should work as intended
The URLs included in automated emails which allow users to view the relevant page with a single click now generate correctly
In the Approvers List macro, when a hyperlinked user is clicked, this page now opens in a new tab
The Transition Date macro now works as expected on published pages
Variable substitution for
${page.url}
was previously displaying a link to the Atlassian API. It now provides the URL of the page itselfWorkflow migrations now work as expected
When approvers for an approval stage are updated in the Workflow Builder, these changes will now propagate to all pages currently in that approval stage
Updating to the latest version: this update has been automatically applied to Workflows for Confluence, so no action is required from you.
