Workflows for Confluence - March 2024

We’re delighted to announce the March 2024 update to Workflows for Confluence has just been released.

Improvements 🛠️

• Publish Content Workflow Action

  • The Places to Publish field (within Publish Content) has now been separated into two fields, one for pages and one for spaces, to better differentiate between the two different options available

  • The Publish Source Page Workflow Metadata setting (within the Publish Content action) has been renamed to Copy Workflow Metadata from Original Page

• Previously, when updating the status of a page, the transitioner needed edit access to the page for this change to be fully complete. We have removed this limitation, and it is now sufficient for the Workflows for Confluence user or the transitioner to have edit access

  • Please note that some actions have specific access requirements for the Workflows for Confluence user

• The Workflows for Confluence byline now has a new and improved loading animation to make it clearer when the app is loading the display

Bug fixes 🐛

• If there are no approvals associated with an official version, the Document Control Table macro will now export to PDF and Word as expected

• If a page is restored from trash, the associated workflow will get restored to its state at the time of deletion

• Group names containing special characters are now correctly managed and can add/remove workflows to pages as expected

Updating to the latest version: this update has been automatically applied to Workflows for Confluence, so no action is required from you.
