New features 💎
Workflow Templates - When creating a new Workflow, you can now select from several pre-defined templates which cover common use cases. These templates help you get started faster by pre-populating key steps, actions, and settings, whilst still allowing full customization to suit your specific needs.
Workflow templates serve as an improvement to the old Generate Default button functionality, which has now been removed.
Improvements 🛠️
The byline is now compatible with dark mode.
As part of our continued efforts to migrate Workflows for Confluence to the Forge platform, we have removed four Connect integration points - the Apply and Remove Workflow, and Workflow Info buttons from a page’s meatball menu, and the Pending Workflows button from the profile dropdown. Application and removal of a workflow is now done solely from the page byline, and to view your pending approvals simply navigate to Apps > Workflows > Search and add the filter for pending your approval.
Bug fixes 🐛
We have fixed an issue with Publish Content where the macro content of the Workflows Metadata Macro would be incorrectly updated on published ancestors when publishing a page with Clone page’s parent hierarchy enabled. Going forwards, the macro data will not be updated unless the given page is itself re-published.

Updating to the latest version: this update has been automatically applied to Workflows for Confluence, so no action is required from you.
