Workflows for Confluence - February 2024

We’re delighted to announce the February 2024 update to Workflows for Confluence has just been released.

In this update, we have released a number of improvements and bug fixes, as detailed below.

Improvements 🛠️

• Publish Content action - made a small improvement to improve efficiency and decrease the risk of failures

• Confluence REST API v2 - replacement of further v1 endpoints with v2 to ensure we are up-to-date with Atlassian’s new REST API offering

• Macro exports - the time zone is now visible on all macros which display timestamps

Bug fixes 🐛

• Using de-activated workflows - if you try to select a de-activated workflow as a default or auto-assigned workflow, this will no longer be possible. A clear error message will be shown, and it will not apply to pages

• Authenticated webhooks - it is now possible to create credentials for use with authenticated webhooks

• Workflow auto-assign - the auto-assign feature now functions as expected if you have Spaces with long space IDs

• Workflow Info - this now loads correctly when there is no workflow history available

• Default workflows - both existing and newly generated default workflows now save correctly

• Long page IDs - previously, webhooks (e.g. page updated, page created, etc.) were truncating long page IDs, leading to Workflows not being able to identify the page correctly. This has now been resolved, and webhook-based actions will complete as expected for instances with long page IDs

• Ad-hoc approvers - ad-hoc approvers can be added to newly created spaces by default

Updating to the latest version: this update has been automatically applied to Workflows for Confluence, so no action is required from you.
