We’re delighted to announce the July 2023 update to Workflows for Confluence Cloud has just been released.
New features 💎

We have released further improvements to our new official versioning feature

In the Workflow Builder, it is now easier to see that the Create Official Version node and the Approve Official Version node should be used in conjunction

Confluence users can now decide whether they would like to keep editing the current draft official version or create a new official version when transitioning through the Create Official Version workflow node

Users can now create an official version on behalf of other users

Official versions cannot be created without a version description provided

In the Workflows Approvers Metadata macro, we added a new option called Latest Approvers for Current Workflow
Bug fixes 🐛

Time-based expiration to the previous status will now transition to the correct logic node (“status”)

The Workflows Manager table remains on the correct page after a workflow has been edited

When exporting source pages to a PDF, the metadata macros now display correctly

Workflow macros on published pages which copy source values now correctly export to PDF

For a workflow with an initial status having a page expiration with the option 'Stay on Current Status', expiry emails will now correctly only trigger once per expiry period

Space search now returns all spaces on the Search page as well the Publish Content action
