We’re delighted to announce the October 2025 update to Optimizer for Jira Cloud has just been released.

New features 💎

• We’ve released a new feature called Label Merging, which works similarly to the Custom Field Merging feature released recently. It helps you clean-up duplicate labels by replacing all instances of one label with another. Full documentation.

Improvements 🛠️

• We’ve updated Optimizer’s interface to match the latest Atlassian design system guidelines, improving accessibility, consistency, and dark mode compatibility.

Updating to the latest version: If you are on the latest major version of Optimizer for Jira (version 7) then this update has been automatically applied and no action is required from you. Otherwise, if you are on a previous major version then you can update through the Universal Plugin Manager
