Optimizer for Jira - November 2025

We’re delighted to announce the November 2025 update to Optimizer for Jira Cloud has just been released.

New features 💎

• We’ve added a “Projects nearing field limit” health check to find projects close to or above Jira’s recently introduced data limits. There’s also a new “Field count” column in the Projects configuration table, so that you can see exactly how many fields each project has.

• We’ve improved the experience for new users, adding a new welcome page and tours of the most commonly-used features.

Bug fixes 🐛

• We fixed a bug which was causing an error when attempting to update a Jira item’s description to an empty value.

Updating to the latest version: If you are on the latest major version of Optimizer for Jira (version 7) then this update has been automatically applied and no action is required from you. Otherwise, if you are on a previous major version then you can update through the Universal Plugin Manager
