Optimizer for Jira - Price Increase Oct 2024

We’re making some changes to the pricing of our leading app, Optimizer for Jira, on the Atlassian Marketplace, as detailed below.

When does the price change take effect?

The price change process will begin on 16th Oct 2024. It will affect existing and new license sales, as well as all quotes for Optimizer for Jira on the Atlassian Marketplace, including renewals.

• New customers will be charged at the new rate, as of 16th Oct 2024.

• For renewing customers, prices will remain the same until 60 days following the 16th Oct 2024, at which point all renewals will be priced at the new rate.

• If you have received a firm quotation that predates 16th Oct 2024, that quote will be honored under the prior pricing until it expires. Quotes generated after 16th Oct 2024 will be based on the new pricing. 

Why is the price changing?

Our pricing hasn’t increased for over two years. During this time, we have all experienced significant cost increases in line with rises in inflation so, like many of our fellow vendors, we've had to make the decision to pass on a cost increase to our customers.

However, we have also spent the past two years introducing a number of notable new features and upgrades to both Optimizer for Jira Cloud and Optimizer for Jira DC:

For Optimizer for Jira Cloud, customers can now benefit from:

• Enhancements to the Instance Overview - provides an all-in-one, high-level overview of Jira objects on your system, how they relate to health check results, what your overall health check score is, user accounts you have allotted, and product licenses you have allocated

• Health Checks:

  • Numerous checks covering Jira objects and their implementation best practices

  • An overall health check score

  • Health check result tables to immediately see the results of any health check in smart table format

  • Settings to prioritize, ignore, and configure all health checks to suit particular concerns

• Numerous smart tables, info columns, bulk actions, export options, and table settings

• Sorting and filtering functionality to smart table columns

For Optimizer for Jira DC, customers can now benefit from:

• Health Checks, including:

  • Numerous checks covering more Jira objects and their implementation best practices

  • Health check result tables to immediately see the results of any health check in smart table format

  • Settings to all health checks - you can prioritize, ignore, schedule, and configure all health checks to suit particular concerns

• Numerous smart tables, info columns, and bulk actions

• Enhanced functionality, usability, and performance of the popular Custom Field Merging and Custom Field Optimization features

• Enhancements to the reporting experience and introduced report exporting

• Updates to the user interface of the app, modernizing the experience and implementing quality of life improvements everywhere

• Improvements to the performance of the app in order to ensure enterprise-scale readiness
