• Improved the performance of the Custom Field Merging feature, which could cause timeouts to occur on large instances.

Updating to the latest version: Navigate to the Manage apps section of Jira Administration (via the Settings icon in the top right of the Jira navigation menu). Find Optimizer for Jira in the list of apps and click Update.
