We’re delighted to announce the August 2024 update to Approvals for Confluence Cloud has just been released.
New features 💎
-
The page’s expiry date can now be seen in the byline pop up window. A warning flag will be displayed next to the expiry date if the page approval is expiring within 1 week, highlighting that the page approval will be expiring soon.
Improvements 🛠️
-
We have updated the Approvals logo/branding in various places within the app.
-
Emails for Approval actions now correctly go to the current page owner.
-
A new flag has been added to inform a page approval creator or editor if emails fail to be sent to new approvers when the notify approvers toggle is enabled.
-
We have updated the wording used within Default Settings of page approvals (accessed via space settings) to match the terminology used in Page Approval Settings (accessed via Confluence pages).
Bug fixes 🐛
-
Approvers may have been impacted by a bug that prevented them from viewing comments on page approvals. Total comments may have been displayed as '0', despite comments existing. This is now fixed.
-
When a new page approval is being created, clicking on the Reset button will no longer cause an error, and the approval history will be correctly set up with a Created entry.
-
When loading the Page Approval History page with more than ten entries, data loading will no longer cause the pagination buttons to disappear.
-
Links shared in the Page Approval Expiry emails now work as expected.
Updating to the latest version: this update has been automatically applied to Approvals for Confluence Cloud, so no action is required from you.
