View Detected Data

Once sensitive data has been detected in Compliance for Confluence, there are two places it can be viewed from an administrators perspective; (1) within the Compliance Sensitive Data Search, or (2) within the Confluence page itself.

Both of these options can be made available to other Confluence groups or users in the Permissions settings.

In the guide below, we’ll explore both options in more detail.

Sensitive Data Search

Within the Compliance for Confluence application, you can easily view detected sensitive data using the Sensitive Data search (A).

You can use the filters on the right-hand side (B) to narrow the search results displayed here.

Confluence Page Scan Results

The other option is to view the sensitive data within individual Confluence pages. To access these results, navigate to a page where sensitive data has been detected and then click the Compliance logo (C) as shown below.

Please note, you can exclude specific text from being identified by the sensitive data detection feature by following the steps below:

  1. Click ‘Action’ (D)  >  ‘Add to Exclusion’

  2. Enter a name for the rule

  3. Click ‘Create’
