Restriction Schemes

Restriction Schemes are a new feature in Compliance for Confluence and give you greater control over the types of page access restrictions that are used throughout Confluence.

Restriction Schemes are most useful when different departments or teams require specific page restrictions to be applied in their Spaces. For example, lets imagine your organization's Finance department need specific restrictions applied to pages that are classified as Highly Restricted. Instead of adopting a one-size fits all approach across Confluence, you can create a custom Restriction Scheme (Finance Restriction Scheme) which can be applied to the Finance departments Confluence space, giving them the exact restrictions they need.

Important: Restriction Schemes can only be created, edited and managed by Confluence admins.
