Add Sub-Level to Pages
Sub-levels allow pages to be tagged with an extra layer of information and granularity. These sub-levels are usually linked to the type or category of the page content.
Once sub-levels are applied to a Confluence page, they will be displayed clearly at the top of the page (A) alongside the classification level as a coloured lozenge that expands to show the full sub-level name on hover.
To add a sub-level, click Pending Classification at the top of the page. This will open a window that contains the different Classification Levels (B) and their accompanying Sub-Levels (C) available in your Confluence space. Here you can see a list of the available levels and on expanding the dropdown (D), their sub-levels.
Clicking one of these sub-levels will automatically apply the selected sub-level and the parent level to the page.
Note: Sub-levels belong to a single parent level, and can only be applied to pages where the parent level is also applied.
Note: It is not required for sub-levels to be applied to a page; levels can be applied to a page without sub-levels.
