Take advantage of the automation features built into the pro version of Approvals for Trello and streamline your approval processes. The automation will move cards to specific lists in your Trello board based on the approval status. For example, if a card is approved you could use the automation to move it to a list that’s named “Approved” or “Ready to go”.

It’s a great way to save time and let Approvals for Trello take care of some manual tasks for you.

Note: You will need to upgrade to the Pro version of Approvals for Trello to access this feature.

Setting up card automation based on approval status'

The automation feature is built into the pro version of Approvals for Trello.

  1. Open Approvals for Trello in the navigation bar

  2. Click on the “+” sign

  3. Under “Move on Approval”, select the column you want to collate all approved cards

  4. Under “Move on Rejection”, select the column you want to collate all rejected cards

  5. Click “Save

In the example below, the Trello Card automatically moves through the sales pipeline once it has been approved.
