Installation

Installing Optimizer for Jira can be done in one of two ways

• From the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) in Jira

  • Please read the following guide for more information: Finding New Marketplace apps - Atlassian Confluence

• Via an officially distributed .jar file

  • These can be downloaded from the Optimizer for Jira - Atlassian marketplace page.

  • Please read the following guide for more information: Installing Marketplace apps - Atlassian Confluence

Licensing

Licenses for Optimizer for Jira can be bought through Atlassian partners such as Automation-Consultants, directly through Atlassian or from appfox directly.

Trial Licenses

Trial licenses for Optimizer come in two varieties

• Atlassian Trial

  • Has restrictions on the amount of actions you can perform and the amount of data displayed.

  • Can be generated through the marketplace or your My Atlassian page.

• Unlocked Trial

  • A 14 day fully unlocked trial can be requested from our service desk. Please include the date you would like the trial to begin in your ticket.

How to find Optimizer for Jira:

Once Optimizer Jira has been installed, you can access it in two locations:

1. In the top navigation bar under the “Jira Administration” dropdown menu 

2. Within the “Administration” screen it will appear in the sub-navigation menu
