Compliance for Confluence - January 2025

We’re delighted to announce the January 2025 update to Compliance for Confluence Cloud has been released.

New features 💎

• Automation Rules Text Redaction Action: Automatically redact text identified via sensitive data detection and optionally delete the page version where the sensitive data was introduced

  • Sensitive data will be redacted on pages as: sensitive_text → ██████████████

  • Redaction-related events will be added to the audit log. Admins can view when redact actions are triggered, which detectors triggered them, what sensitive text was redacted, etc.

• Automation Rules Email Action: Automatically notify individual users and groups via email when sensitive data is detected on your Confluence pages.

  • Automation Rule Email events added as viewable entries in the audit log

• Automation Rules Label Action: Automatically apply page labels when sensitive data is detected on your Confluence pages.

  • Page Label and Automation Rule Label events added as viewable entries in the audit log

Updating to the latest version: this update has been automatically applied to Compliance for Confluence Cloud, so no action is required from you.
