Approvals for Confluence - Price Increase Oct 2024
We’re making some changes to the pricing of our leading app, Approvals for Confluence, on the Atlassian Marketplace, as detailed below.
When does the price change take effect?
The price change process will begin on 24th October 2024. It will affect existing and new license sales, as well as all quotes for Approvals for Confluence on the Atlassian Marketplace, including renewals.
New customers will be charged at the new rate, as of 24th Oct 2024.
For renewing customers, prices will remain the same until 60 days following the 24th Oct 2024, at which point all renewals will be priced at the new rate.
If you have received a firm quotation that predates 24th Oct 2024, that quote will be honored under the prior pricing until it expires. New quotes generated after 24th Oct 2024 will be based on the new pricing.
Why is the price changing?
Our pricing hasn’t increased for over two years. During this time, we have all experienced significant cost increases in line with rises in inflation so, like many of our fellow vendors, we've had to make the decision to pass on a cost increase to our customers.
However, we have also spent the past two years introducing a number of notable new features and upgrades to both Approvals for Confluence Cloud and Approvals for Confluence DC:
For Approvals for Confluence Cloud, customers can now benefit from:
Improved design for Section approvals and the Approvals byline
The requester of the approval displayed in the byline
Improved Search page functionality
‘expired for’ and ‘all expired’ filters added for section approvals
'page last updated by', ‘current version’ and ‘last approver version’ columns added
Improvements to CSV exports
Page Approval Status macro created
Option to export to PDF and Word and adjust the contents
Brand new Getting Started section & Help Center
Expiry interval for page approvals
Expiry date added to Page Approval Status macro - can be exported to Word and PDF
Expiry date byline with a warning flag appearing if expiry is within 1 week
Expiry date column in the Search page and a filter for expiries also added
Option to automatically reapply the interval once the page is re-approved
For Approvals for Confluence DC, customers can now benefit from:
Compatibility and security updates
ServiceRocket migration tool improvements
Option to add and view comments for page approvals
Latest approved Confluence page version shown in the byline
