Approval Search

The search built into Approvals for Confluence is a quick and easy way to view of all the pages that are currently pending review, or have been approved/rejected. It has been designed to give you a complete overview of all the pages in your Confluence instance that are using Approvals.

Access the Approvals Search

To access the Approvals Search in Approvals for Confluence, click Approvals (A) in the left-hand navigation within Confluence. This will open the Approvals Search (B), as shown below.

Filter the Search Results

If you have many pages using Approvals or have a specific interest, you can use the Filters (E) to narrow your search.

The approvals in your Confluence instance can be filtered based on the following options:

• Approval Type: Whether they are page approvals or section approvals

• Spaces: Filter approvals based on whether they belong to 1 or more spaces

• Status: you can filter based on the different approval statuses.

  • The following approval statuses are used in conjunction with the User filter:

    • PENDING APPROVAL FROM

    • REJECTED BY

    • APPROVED BY

    • REQUESTED BY

  • The following statuses are not used in conjunction with the User filter:

    • ALL PENDING: Find all pending approvals

    • ALL REJECTED

    • ALL APPROVED

Advanced Features in the Approvals Search

There are several additional features available in Approvals Search that may benefit you or other people using Approvals for Confluence.

• Bulk Change (G): by using the checkboxes on each row (F), you can approve/reject multiple documents at once. To perform this action, select the documents you would like to approve or reject and click the Bulk Change button

• Export to CSV (H): download the information as a CSV file
